World of real life concept, will it work?
I’ve kick started mylifelevel.com into development and nearly ready to start beta testing the web application.
The idea comes from World of Warcraft and other online MMO’s. If you haven’t played any online MMO before the theory is this. 1. You find a quest giver 2. You accept the quest 3. You complete the quest requirements (do the job) 4. You hand in the quest and get rewards (experience points or reward item).
Well basically this idea is exactly the same, minus the ganking (killing players online). However the only main difference with the idea is that its run by the community. So you can post your own quests for 1000’s of others to do. This tool could be use to find out your own strengths and weaknesses. Each quest is assigned to a category, the more you do in that category the more it shapes your level. So if your a fitness freak, most of your points will be the fitness category. If you run your own business, most of the points will be in the business category and so on. You can do quests in all 20 categories which range from everything in real life.
It should be launched soon after the beta testing, if you want to become a beta tester for mylifelevel.com please click the link below.
